Annapolis Rise One of Highest in MD
The average one-year tax assessment increase was twenty-seven percent for Annapolis homeowners in 2005. The increase for the rest of Anne Arundel County was roughly twenty-four percent. The dramatic rise in the area was attributed to the rising of property values nationwide and the demand for the area's waterfront homes.
